“They lost the Russian roulette game our government forced them to play,” that is what a heartbroken mother is saying about her son and daughter-in-law, who were killed 16 days after their marriage because of an illegal alien with a driver’s license.
Self-described lifelong Democrat Elizabeth Carter testified before Congress and blamed the deaths of her son, William “Billy” Micah Carter, 25, and daughter-in-law, Jennifer “Jenny” Lynn Lower, 24, on top officials of her political party.
The newlyweds were travelling in Oregon when they rounded a bend at highway speed and ran into a jack-knifed truck driven by Rajinder Kumar, an Indian national who entered illegally under Biden in 2022. Kumar reportedly held a California commercial driver’s license after getting a Biden-era work permit.
“Billy, Jenny, and her cat Burt were killed… they lost the Russian roulette game our government is forcing them to play,” she said, becoming emotional. “As a lifelong Democrat, I am ashamed of what my party is doing.”

Following her testimony, Carter appeared on Fox News’ Hannity to tell viewers that she feels “tremendous responsibility to the next me out there, the next mother who’s about to lose her child, to somebody who shouldn’t have been here in the first place.”
She went on to say that she was shocked to learn the man responsible for the death of her loved ones was part of Biden’s “catch and release policy.” She also slammed California Governor Gavin Newsom for rewarding Kumar’s illegal action of crossing the border with a commercial driver’s license.
“Our son and daughter-in-law would still be alive,” she said.

There was plenty of empathy for Carter and her family, but many X users doubted that even this monumental tragedy would sway her vote.
Note: If it wasn’t her family, she’d be voting for more of the same. Odds are still better than 50/50 that she will anyway.

To be clear, Carter has not commented on how she’ll be voting in the future. But kudos to her for delivering painful testimony that helps destroy her party’s dangerous open-border/blanket amnesty platform.
