Donald Trump Wins The Nevada Caucuses – The Daily Caller

New York businessman Donald Trump won the Republican Nevada caucuses with 45.9 percent of the vote Tuesday, his third consecutive victory.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio came in second with 23.9 percent, and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz came in third with 21.4 percent. Neurosurgeon Ben Carson finished in fourth with 4.8 percent, followed by Ohio Gov. John Kasich with 3.6 percent.

As of Wednesday morning, 12 of Nevada’s 30 delegates went to Trump, meaning that he now has 80 delegates toward the Republican nomination. Rubio and Cruz each earned five delegates, with eight delegates yet to be allocated.

In his victory speech, Trump thanked his supporters and listed off all the groups he earned the most votes — including, to his great joy, Hispanics.
