Syrian Sunni rebels, previously thought to be attached to terror groups which have threatened the U.S., like Al Qaeda, have captured the strategic town of Aleppo, in a defeat to the Assad regime and the Kremlin.
Assad’s army has withdrawn from large sections of Aleppo according to local journalists.
